Thousands of people in Colorado Springs can't afford to fix their vehicles. Without reliable transportation, they can't get to work, take their kids to school, or make medical appointments. A broken car can spiral into job loss, eviction, and worse.
The Stranded Motorist Fund provides vehicle repair assistance to those who need it most, helping families stay mobile and self-sufficient.

When an SMF application comes in where the repairs needed align with what a school is teaching, we bring the vehicle to the school. The Stranded Motorist Fund provides the parts, and students get hands-on experience performing real repairs.
